Instrumentalist, born in Salvador and professor of Guitar at the Federal University of Bahia. He works as a soloist, chamber musician, arranger and composer in different musical spheres, theater, dance and cinema.

He has been performing in cities such as São Paulo, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Orleans, Strasbourg, Porto Alegre, Fontainebleau or Nancy, with formations such as l'Opéra de Strasbourg, l'Orchestre Phillarmonique de Strasbourg, Orquestra Sinfônica da Bahia, Orquestra Sinfônica da UFBA, In-Extremis, Camará Ensemble or Duo Robatto, and being a guest at festivals such as the Vandoeuvre Jazz Festival (Nancy, France, 2012), 1st Rencontre Franco-Argentine de Musique Contemporaine (Paris, 2009), 2nd International Festival of Exploratory Music (São Paulo, 2014) , Festival Terranga (Nancy, France, 2009-2010) or Música de Agora na Bahia (MAB, Salvador, 2014-2015). He collaborated with artists such as Lia Robatto, Jan Lathan-Koenig, Tuzé de Abreu, Gaël le Billan, Lucas Robatto, Sylvain Courtney, Uibitú Smetak, Moacyr Costa Filho and his interest in current music led him to collaborate with authors such as Ivan Fédéle, Wellington Gomes , Aldo Brizzi, Leonardo Boccia, Paulo Rios Filho or Kedson Silva for the debut or first recording of their works. He received national and international awards such as first prize at the VIII Souza Lima National Guitar Competition (São Paulo, 1997), and second prizes at the II National Musical Guitar Competition (São Paulo, 1998), at the IV Concours International de Guitare Forêt d 'Orleans (France, 2001), and the III Concours International de Guitare de Fontainebleau (France, 2001) and the Concours National de Ceyzeriat (France, 2002). Among his recent productions is the RespirArte Award from FUNARTE for "Suite Smetak", an audiovisual written and directed by him, on the microtonal guitars of Walter Smetak and the CD “Diagonal”, released by the “Tupynambá” label in 2023, with Musical Direction by Ivan Bastos and participation by Lucas Robatto. Since 2022 he has been a founding member and Musical Director of the instrumental music group "Os Prometidos" dedicated to contemporary repertoire and creation.

He is specialized in performance of current music from the Conservatoire National de Strasbourg (France), graduated, Master and Doctor in Guitar from UFBA, having already attended classes with artists such as Mario Ulloa, Pablo Marquez, Iasunori Imamura, Eduardo Fernández, Cristina Tourinho, Graig Goodman, Eduardo Isaac, Christine Bayle, Pepe Romero, Flávio Queiroz, Everton Gloëden, among others.
